Buying advice
Feather flags vs teardrop flags: which should you choose?
Compare feather and teardrop flag shapes, artwork layouts and placement before choosing flags for your event.

Start with the shape of your message
Choose a feather flag when a tall, elongated artwork area suits your wording. Consider a teardrop flag when you prefer a curved outline and a more compact composition. Neither shape is automatically the right answer for every business. Try the same logo on both, at comparable sizes, before deciding. The important question is whether a visitor can recognise your brand from the direction they will approach.
Keep flag artwork simple
A flag has less room for detailed information than a broad backdrop. Start with your logo and a short description of what you offer. If your logo is wide, stacking it with a few words underneath may read more clearly than shrinking everything to fit. Keep important details away from the curved edges and check the whole graphic in the preview.
Think about both approaches
A flag beside a gazebo can help identify the stand from further along the aisle or across a field. Two flags do not have to repeat every detail: they can mark the edges of the same space. Check which way each graphic faces and compare the available print options. Do not assume the reverse will look identical to the front without checking the selected configuration.
Choose the base for the location
The supporting base is part of the decision, not an afterthought. Tell us whether the flag will stand on grass, paving or an indoor floor, and check the compatible options for the chosen flag. Allow room for the base and keep entrances clear. Follow the supplied installation guidance and organiser requirements; a visual preview is not a wind or stability assessment.
Compare in Studio
Add a feather flag in Studio, then compare it with a teardrop flag and your other products. Review the flag height, print option, base and artwork before checking the configured price. If you already have poles or bases, ask about compatibility rather than assuming a new graphic will fit.
