Sealed or constant air: which inflatable arch suits your event?
Choosing an inflatable arch? Compare power needs, event layout and artwork planning before selecting sealed or constant air in Whizprint Studio.

Start with the power available at your display position
The first question is whether you can provide power where the arch will stand, throughout the time it is in use. A constant-air arch needs a blower running continuously. A sealed-air arch is inflated with a pump and then retains its air without a continuously running blower. If the organiser can provide a suitable supply at the agreed position, compare both options. If there is no ongoing power connection, sealed air may suit your plans better, but you still need to arrange the initial inflation.
Turn “we have power” into a practical plan
Before choosing constant air, ask where the supply is, when it is available and who is responsible for it. Power at a nearby building is not the same as power at your start line or entrance. Include the blower position and cable route in the layout you discuss with the organiser. Confirm the requirements of the actual equipment with Whizprint; do not choose a cable or generator from the preview alone. If your arch will move between venues, repeat this check for each location rather than assuming one event’s arrangements will work everywhere.
Compare the whole setup, not just the starting price
Whizprint Studio lists constant-air and sealed-air configurations for 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 m arches. Select the same width and shape when comparing the displayed prices, and check whether you are viewing VAT-inclusive or VAT-exclusive figures. Then confirm the equipment supplied with your chosen build. The presence of a blower, ropes or other items in an illustration does not settle what is included in an order. At present, arch equipment inclusion needs confirmation before ordering. Give Whizprint your event date and requirements so those details can be resolved before you commit.
Check the opening as well as the overall width
An arch’s outside width is not the same as the clear space between its legs. Think about who or what needs to pass beneath it, and tell Whizprint the opening you require. Check the available height as well as the width, particularly near an existing doorway or overhead feature. Studio offers angled, square and curved shapes, but its arch dimensions are approximate. Use the preview to compare designs, then confirm the final production dimensions and clear opening for your chosen configuration. Allow room around the arch for the agreed anchoring arrangement instead of filling the entire available space with the product footprint.
Give the top and legs different jobs in the design
Decide what a visitor should recognise first: the event name, the organiser or the main sponsor. Give that message a clear position on the top, then use the legs for supporting branding rather than repeating several small messages everywhere. Whizprint Studio provides separate front and reverse artwork for the top and both legs. Review both directions of approach; the back of an entrance may become the view people see as they leave. Keep essential wording away from panel edges and inspect the selected artwork views before sharing the design for review.
Send a short brief if you are unsure
You do not need to settle every detail before starting a conversation. Choose a likely size and air system in Studio, then use WhatsApp to discuss anything unresolved. Include the event date, proposed location, available power, required clear opening and the branding you want to show. Mention whether the arch will stay in one place or be used at several venues. This gives Whizprint the information needed to help confirm the configuration, equipment and timing. Start with the inflatable arch product page below, then use Studio to compare the options with your own artwork.
